Created especially for children, this is a charming introduction to ballet and to the timeless tale of The Nutcracker. In spectacular costumes, dancers from the Brighton Ballet Theater's professional and junior companies recreate that magical night when a young girl sees the Nutcracker and other toys come to life in her living room.
The Brighton Ballet Theater / School of Russian Ballet is located on Kingsborough's campus and provides dance instruction for all levels, beginners through professionals. Many instructors are graduates of top Russian, Ukrainian, and American institutions and have performed with prestigious ballet companies in the former Soviet Union and in the U.S. At BBT /School of Russian Ballet, all students enjoy the opportunity to perform in full-scale ballets.
